Taking advantage of some down time before a nationwide tour with his main band Deer Tick this Spring, Ian O’Neil will be making a solo appearance at The Space this Thursday, January 14th. Expect a stripped down mixture of folk, country and rhythm & blues from O’Neil that fans of Deer Tick will be happy to hear. Joining O’Neil will be a solo appearance by Alex Mazzaferro of local luminaries Aeroplane, 1929. Rounding out the bill will be sets by Lion Cub (including former members of O’Neil’s old band, La Guillotine), Darlingside, Tommy Vallen and Celebrated Tigers.
