For over the past two years, every second Saturday night has been filled with lots of uncertainty at Neverending Books, Uncertainty Music that is. The ongoing avante-garde series, presented by the New Haven Improvisers Collective and encompassing everything from experimental electronic music to jazz and string quartets, kicks off its first installment for 2010 this Saturday, January 9th. Performing will be ‘Cosmic Hue,’ a sextet including multiple percussionists, woodwinds, koto, bass and even a didjeridu player. As with all previous installments, groups are primarily composed of local and regional musicians from New Haven, NYC and throughout New England and the shows, as far as we know, are free to everyone.
